Nanny Goat 12/24 Hour Run - #45

Levy from Henderson, NV is not a Marathon Maniac but he should be. Levy has 4 buckles!!! That's 4, 100 milers!!!( in less than 12 months) and he's only 26 years old...

Nanny Goat 12/24 hour race takes place on a one mile dirt loop on a private horse Ranch located in Riverside, CA. The course is flat and the object is to complete as many laps as possible within 12 or 24 hours. Last year I did the 12 hour and completed 48 laps. This year I did the 12 hour but completed 32 laps in less than 9 hours.

Jennifer, MM1756 from Reno is working on her first 100 miler. Jennifer loves ultras and has completed 18 ultras and a quadzilla this year. Jennifer is hoping to get her first buckle this year...Good luck Jennifer!

Jean, MM1695 is amazing. Let me say it again...Jean is AMAZING!!! Jean got her first buckle last month at the Rocky Road Endurance Run in Coto de Caza, CA. She finished 100 miles in 38 hours. Jean was the only woman to finish the brutal 100 miler!!! You are truly amazing Jean!

Nanny Goat 12/24 Hour Run also had relay teams. This team of men wore pink running skirts. How cute!

At noon it was already in the high 80's, which didn't help my hot flashes!!!

These ladies know how to have fun...Keep running you still have 18 hours to go...

There were lots of beautiful horses.

Thank you Steve, Annie & Shelly for a wonderful race. Good food, nice tech shirt, beer mug, and my favorite goat medal.

In a trail race it's not the number of breaths you take,
but the number of miles that take your breath away.

  1. Just saw the blog for the first time. I have seen you at a lot of the SoCal races....Sycamore, Santa Monica Mts.

I was crewing for my wife this last Saturday. Congrats on the strong performance.
